Hello, I'm Jayne Micallef, I have more than 10 years of experience in empowering expectant mums and birthing partners for a calm and more confident birth.
I first began teaching pregnancy yoga in London Waterloo in 2008. Combining yoga with proven mind-body hypnobirthing techniques for childbirth. Because this works so well I decided to start offering weekly in-person and Livestream classes locally, I live in Croydon.
I also created a couples Calm Birth Workshop this gives you and your partner knowledge and ‘know how’, most importantly, it empowers you both. Its remarkable what effect Hypnobirthing has for couples when they dispel the uncertainties and common misconceptions traditionally associated with childbirth, it helps them move away from fear and towards a more natural calm birth.
There is no one right way to labour. Childbirth is a normal process, and I aim to inspire confidence in everyone by sharing what is possible, helping you develop the skills to move through your labour and leaving you feeling prepared to work through whatever your journey turns out to be.
It is my target with Joyful Body Birth to provide you with tools and techniques that create an empowering birthing experience and a more conscious lifestyle. With courses and therapies for your health and well being.
